In celebration of Wesak, LAUGFS Holdings came alive with colour, culture, and creativity during the annual Wesak Floor Decorating Contest. Departments across the building participated, transforming their spaces into stunning displays inspired by Buddhist teachings and traditional craftsmanship.
A standout feature across all floors was the use of recyclable materials, showcasing the teams’ creativity and commitment to sustainability.
The 6th Floor emerged as the 1st place winner, impressing judges with their thoughtful design and attention to detail. The Mezzanine Floor secured 2nd place, while the 4th and 9th Floors tied for 3rd, each presenting unique interpretations of the Vesak spirit.
Judging was carried out by members of the higher management, including the Chairman, who commended the effort, symbolism, and teamwork displayed across the board. More than just a competition, the event served as a platform to bring employees together and celebrate shared values.
