The refreshed board combines continuity with new perspectives, reflecting the Group’s forward-looking vision following the landmark partnership between Dr. W. K. H. Wegapitiya and Mr. Dhammika Perera.
Continuing to guide the Group are Dr. W. K. H. Wegapitiya, who remains as Group Executive Chairman, and Mr. Mithila Wegapitiya, whose appointment as Group Executive Vice Chairman marks a key step in strengthening leadership continuity. Mr. Dhanusha Muthukumarana also assumes a new role as Group Executive Director, further reinforcing LAUGFS’ executive leadership.
he Board continues to benefit from the experience of Mr. Raj Selvaskandan and Mr. Laksiri Abeysekera, while welcoming four new Non-Executive Directors; Mr. Sumith Adhihetty, Mr. G. A. R. D.
